Entry Period
We will open the contest to creating profiles starting on June 1st, 2023
The donation period will close August 31, 2023 at midnight
Voting
Every dollar donated in the fundraiser will count as one vote towards the dog’s page it’s collected on. The details on the voting website will be released soon
There is no limit to votes
Dog owners are eligible to vote through donation
Votes will be made through the fundraising website (more details to come). We will accept check and cash donations as well, but it’s up to the donor to make us aware of the dog that the votes are going to
The top 15 fundraising dogs will move into the in-person event
All donations will go to Northern Colorado Wildlife Center
The 16th dog
The 16th dog will be selected through social media engagement. Create a post on Instagram where you will need to: tag @nocowildlifecenter, tag @odellbrewing, and hashtag #focotopdog. The post with the most engagement outside of the top 15 fundraisers will move on to the in-person event. Engagement will be measured through total likes and comments. Selection of the Ultimate Winner
Winner will be selected at the in-person event on September 24 2023. There will be a series of fun mini-events to determine the winner. Events will be described in detail closer-to the event
Should extraneous circumstances cause the event to be postponed or canceled, the organizers will be in communication with the top 16 contestants about an alternate means of determining the winner
Prize
The winning dog will have their photo be forever enshrined on the can of a specialty Odell beer! We will work with the owner on either selecting an appropriate photo, or taking one specifically for the prize
Other
Participation in the event expressly gives Fort Collins Top Dog the right to utilize and share the entrants’ name, photograph, likeness, statements, and voice for advertising, fundraising, promotional or publicity purposes in all media. We reserve the right to amend the rules at any time and subject to the sole discretion of Fort Collins Top Dog
All votes are donations to a charitable cause and will be nonrefundable
Anyone determined to be cheating in any way can be barred from participation at the discretion of the event organizers
In-person event is hosted solely at the discretion of Odell Brewery and their current rules on COVID-19 at the time of hosting
